According to a graphic in a link that Dr. Crawford provided
for us, Partners, or CBS rather, spends $161,675 for 30 seconds of commercials.
Also, Partners is trying to entice viewers with interesting episode names such as "It gets hot, sexy and a little "tingly" on PARTNERS!" However, the show is still failing and not doing as well as expected.
I'm just glad the show hasn't been cancelled yet...Partners is getting criticized pretty harshly though. One article written for the Huffington Post was titled
"'Guys With Kids' Review, Plus 'Partners' And 'Neighbors': Fall TV's Three Least Promising Comedies." The article made me laugh with the line "This appears to be the re-animated corpse of a tired, schticky comedy pilot from 1996"...I'm not too sure what schticky means but apparently it isn't a good thing. The article continues to criticize lines used in the show; a Clay Aiken joke was a bad idea. It's sad to see that some shows on CBS have so much success and others, like Partners, become a flop. I guess that is part of the risk you take with new shows! We shall see how much longer it will last...
